What the process looks like
A surgical consultation comes first. Your surgeon reviews your history, examines you, and orders any pre-operative tests needed — blood work, imaging, anaesthetic assessment. You'll know the diagnosis, the procedure being recommended, and the realistic recovery timeline before any dates are booked.
On the day of surgery, you'll be prepared and admitted by our nursing team. The anaesthetist reviews your case before the procedure. Post-operatively, you recover under the monitoring of the ward team — pain management, wound care, and discharge planning are all handled here, not delegated elsewhere.
Follow-up visits after discharge are with the same surgeon. If complications arise, you come back to the team that knows your case.
