Specialist Clinics

Your child's doctor, from the start

When your child is sick, the worry hits fast. Paediatric care is different from adult medicine because children's bodies respond differently to illness, and what's normal at six months is not normal at six years. Our paediatrician sees children from birth through adolescence — with enough time at each visit to actually examine your child and hear your concerns.

Paediatric care

From the first week to the teenage years

Newborn assessments, childhood illness, growth and developmental checks, vaccinations, asthma management, malaria, malnutrition — our paediatrician handles all of it. The conditions that affect children in Uganda are specific: malaria presentations in young children can be severe and rapid; malnutrition can co-exist with other illness and change how treatment works; respiratory infections and gastroenteritis affect children more seriously than adults. This context shapes how our paediatrician approaches every case.

Well-child visits are important even when nothing is wrong. Growth charts, developmental milestones, vaccination review — these visits catch things that a sick visit would miss, because you're only looking when the child seems healthy.

Our paediatrician is on-site regularly, not occasionally. When your child is unwell and needs to be seen today, you can book the same day.

If you're not sure whether to come in

With children, it's almost always better to have them checked than to wait. If your child has a fever that won't come down, has been unwell for more than a few days, or you're just not sure — call us or book online.
