When pain is in your bones, joints, or muscles

Joint pain that limits what you can do, a back that has been bad for months, a fracture that needs proper management, a knee that keeps giving way — orthopaedic conditions affect how you move through daily life. Our orthopaedic specialist assesses what's causing it and tells you clearly what the options are.

Assessment and treatment

An orthopaedic consultation starts with a thorough examination and a review of any imaging you've had — X-rays, MRI, or ultrasound. The orthopaedic specialist looks at the mechanics of the problem: which joint or structure is involved, how severe the damage is, and what's most likely to help.

Treatment ranges from conservative management — physiotherapy, anti-inflammatory medication, joint injections — to surgical intervention when that's what the condition requires. When surgery is recommended, our orthopaedic and surgical teams work together. Physiotherapy for post-orthopaedic recovery is available in the same clinic.

For elderly patients with arthritis or osteoporosis, management is ongoing — we don't aim for a single fix but for a plan that protects function and reduces pain over time.

Pain that limits your movement deserves attention

If a joint or musculoskeletal problem has been affecting your daily life for more than a few weeks, see a specialist. The longer certain conditions go without proper management, the harder they are to treat.
